The 21st Air Force Base in Čáslav, about 80 km east from Prague, hosts the Sky Avenger 2018 live-fly exercise by the Czech Air Force and Texas and Nebraska Air National Guards from 18th till 29th June 2018. Gripens, ALCAs, Mi-24/35s, Mi-171s, F-16s and KC-135s are involved.
The NATO Tiger Meet 2018 exercise took place in Poland, at the 31st Tactical Air Base in Poznan-Krzesiny, between May 14 and May 25. One of the Czech JAS-39 Gripen won the bronze medal with it's motive dedicated to the centenary of the Czechoslovak aviation.
