In addition to the Czech Republic, Slovakia is the home market of Czechoslovak Group (CSG) holding companies. That is why they cannot miss the traditional Slovak IDEB fair of defense technologies, which takes place every two years in Bratislava. This year it will be in the period from 25 to 27 August. The main exhibits will be mainly an armored 4x4 platform on a Tatra chassis or a Tatra Tactic 6x6 military vehicle, which will be manufactured in the Trenčín plant of the Slovak company Tatra Defense Slovakia.
In Hall D, exposition 101 of the Bratislava Incheba Exhibition Center, Tatra Defense Slovakia will be exhibiting an armored 4x4 platform on a Tatra chassis and a military medium truck of the Tatra Tactic 6x6 model series at the CSG stand. "We are pleased to be able to show the world the offer of Tatra vehicles on 4x4 and 6x6 chassis at IDEB 2021 in Bratislava, with which we will seek attention at home and abroad," Michal Baláž, CEO of Tatra Defense Slovakia, said.
These are vehicles that offer full compatibility with NATO standards, while fully meeting the needs of the Slovak Armed Forces and thus enabling effective deployment in UN or NATO missions, as well as in the protection of the territory of the Slovak Republic. "Tatra has recently returned to Slovakia and we plan to start the production of Tatra trucks in order to revive the Slovak defense industry, which is directly linked to employment growth in the Pováží region," added Michal Baláž.

In the CSG exposition, another Slovak company, ZVS Armory, will exhibit 155 mm artillery ammunition and its components, as well as ammunition for armored vehicles, cannons and tanks of 30 mm, 122 mm and 125 mm calibers or a whole range of heavy-caliber training ammunition. Experts and the public will also be able to get acquainted with products in the field of mortar ammunition caliber 60 mm, 81 mm, 98 mm and 120 mm and the proven range of Antos mortars. Artillery and tank ammunition caliber 105 and 120 mm from the production of the Spanish company FM Granada, which has belonged to the structure of the Slovak branch of CSG for more than a year, will also be presented.
At IDEB, in addition to ammunition and vehicles, the CSG holding companies will present, for example, a specialized container with the installation of electronic systems for command and control or the Disk 2 mobile airport tower from MSM in Banská Bystrica. Bratislava's IDEB 2021 will open its gates on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic under strict hygiene and safety rules.
